Profile: Klockner, S. A. produces dental implants. Our NK2 klockner® implants are implants with a slightly ogival-shaped thread with two or three cuts at the tip in order to make surgical insertion of these implants easier, without having to use the bone tap but in hard bones such as D-1/D-2 bones, in which the use of the corresponding bone tap is necessary. NK2 implants connection is a 1.8 mm-high hexagon with 3 mm between opposing sides. This allows the use of the hex shape, and provides the possibility of placing threaded tapered heads and caps that correct unparallel positions, with optimal fixation, without using the central internal threat of the implant, which shall be used to fix screwed prostheses.
